Welcome to A Place Called Home, Inc. website. We have been serving Miami-Dade Community for over a two years. Our organization is a beacon of hope to Miami's homeless, low income and frail elderly and disabled adults. Our services include:

  • Free help with placement into nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
  • Free referrals to Section 8 and other low income housing.
  • Free referrals hot delivered meals up to 7 days weekly.
  • Free help with food stamp applications and nutritional counseling.
  • Free help with Social Security applications and other free government income.
  • Free help with Medicaid, Medicare and other free government medical care.
  • Free information or referrals for assistance with bathing, dressing and other types of personal care.
  • Free clothing donated to us from a variety of sources.

We do not require that you belong to any particular affiliation or possess any previous memberships to join our organization. We do ask that you support our organization through volunteering or donating financial gifts, and personal items like clothes, shoes and household goods.  Remember, all gifts are tax deductible.

We are a 501 c(3) organization and recognized by the Federal government and the State of Florida as a charitable organization.
